Individual Die-Cut vs Kiss-Cut Stickers

A die-cut sticker is trimmed through the sticker and its backing into one individual shape. A kiss-cut sticker is cut only through the face material and remains on a larger backing sheet. Choose die-cut pieces when you want each sticker to look finished as a standalone item. Choose custom sheet labels when several labels need to stay together for organized storage and efficient hand application.

Materials for Custom Die Cut Stickers

Paper, white vinyl, clear film and other selected label materials can be matched to your design and end use. Paper provides a natural, cost-effective appearance for dry indoor applications. Film and vinyl options offer improved durability and resistance to moisture, oil and regular handling. Permanent adhesive supports lasting application on clean smooth surfaces, while removable adhesive is available for temporary promotions or repositionable uses. Testing is recommended for textured, curved, chilled or low-energy plastic surfaces.

Printing and Finishes

We produce custom die cut stickers with full-color printing, fine detail and consistent contour cutting. Matte lamination creates a soft, low-glare finish, while gloss lamination adds brightness and surface protection. White ink can support artwork printed on clear material. A white border may be added around the design for visual separation, or the cut line can follow the artwork more closely where production tolerances allow.

Artwork Guidelines and Quality Checks

Supply vector artwork or a high-resolution file with outlined fonts, bleed and a clearly defined cut path. Avoid very sharp internal corners, fragile projections and extremely narrow gaps that may weaken the finished piece. Before production, we review size, artwork resolution, color setup, border width and cut-line complexity. Finished stickers are checked for print registration, clean edges, liner integrity and easy release.
